Kind Words
“The Christian's faith journey is all about discipleship. It starts with a person becoming a true and trustworthy disciple of Jesus; that is not the end. It is the beginning of an adventure of maturing as a disciple and a discipler. Tracy's Small Batch Discipleship is an amazingly empowering tool for every Christian to do just that. This powerful handbook breaks the myth of discipleship being a program or an activity. Merging contemporary and contextual language, imagery and personal experience, it lays down the truth that discipleship is essentially a Christian's way of life; that it is an obligation, not an option. The most exciting part is the powerful yet simple strategy Tracy offers. This present-day manual for dynamic Christian-living holds the potential for a great Kingdom harvest.”

“I have had the great privilege of knowing Jon and Tracy Sullivan for nearly a decade, and I've watched them not simply talk about discipleship, but wrap their lives around it in an incredibly intentional and impactful way. In my mind, they are an example to all of us on how to make disciples in and through our everyday lives. I'm so grateful that Tracy has taken the time to put her training and experience into writing for the rest of us to glean from. I have no doubt this book will encourage and equip every reader to more effectively make disciples right where we live, work, and play!”

“Sit down with Tracy for more than a minute and her passion for true disciple-making becomes apparent. Some might think such a topic mysterious or even antiquated, but they’ve forgotten (or never known) who else was passionate about raising up disciples. The time is now for the followers of Jesus to join Him in this endeavor like never before. Small Batch Discipleship not only provides practical help and in-depth insights, it offers an inspiring invitation to women to lead the way. Let the revolution begin anew—one small batch at a time!”

“This book will assist all women in the church to understand what Christ expected when He commanded the Church to make disciples, to produce people who love and obey God, bear fruit, and live with joy. The crisis at the heart of the church is that we often speak about making disciples, but we seldom put much effort behind doing it. So, for all women in the church ready to put words into practice, Small Batch Discipleship offers the inspiration and practical know-how to do so.
The greatest strength of this book for me is my Sister Tracy Sullivan’s unrelenting emphasis that ‘You’ve been chosen to multiply the life of Christ into small batch groups of individuals who will one day become ready, able, and willing to reproduce the same into others.’ (See 2 Tim. 2:2.). This provides a firm foundation instrumental in equipping women through forming and leading small batches to finally impact the world globally. This book is a must read, moreover a manual to follow, as we start our own small batch disciples!”

“The Sullivan family’s discipleship has had a profound impact on my walk with the Lord, so it brings me great joy that Tracy has created this tool to equip others to do the same. Tracy lays out a roadmap for discipleship that is both soundly rooted in scripture and genuinely reflective of her lifestyle. Tracy provides a wealth of wisdom that will certainly point you to Jesus and challenge you to walk in obedience to His calling to ‘make disciples of all nations’.”

“As a disciple-maker, I found Tracy’s book an inspiring encouragement to continue. Many a young disciple should read this book. Tracy has clearly articulated what The Master meant to go and make disciples. It is easy to understand from the truths and examples shared what we must do to obey one of Christ’s clear and final commands. Finally, an answer to the biggest question we must ask ourselves as Christians: Is your life an example of the Great Commission or the Great Omission.”

“Becoming a leader is one thing. Becoming an effective leader where it really matters is another entirely. In Small Batch Discipleship, Tracy Sullivan lovingly lays out how we can lead for effect where it matters most. And she makes a clear and compelling case for why we should all start doing so—starting today. You’ll read this book in one sitting because it speaks directly to your heart. And then you’ll come back to it again and again to help you grow as the leader you’ve been called to be.”
