No. 1 - Invite a Friend.

#1 Way to Get Your Small Batch Started - Pick up an extra copy of the Small Batch Discipleship book, and invite a friend or neighbor to read it with you. Meet in your driveway or inside your home (six feet apart, of course), and chat through the discussion questions at the end of each chapter together. Who knows, this might be the spark of something big?! 💥

No. 2 - Host a Coffee.

No. 2 Way to Get Your Small Batch Started - Invite a few friends over for a pot of coffee or a spot of tea, a warm batch of apple cider, or your favorite fall treat, and talk about the small batch concept: You are unique, handcrafted by God, valuable because of the price He paid to call you His own, and the time you’ve got available to you is limited. Ask the group to share which of those ideas resonates most with them. If your discussion was meaningful, be sure to offer to get the gang back together again more often!

No. 3 - Zoom it.

No. 3 - Kick off your small batch discipleship journey using your favorite online platform! You might even call it “diSkypleship.” 😆

I know, we’re all just about sick of toggling the mute button off and on these days, but quarantine doesn’t have to pause our ability to make meaningful connections with others. As a matter of fact, it might just be an enabler for it! 🚦

Think about it…We’re at home more now, we’ve all figured out the tech, and we can even overcome geographic divides with people we’re too far from to visit in person. 🌏

Go ahead...Break out your bibles and get a copy of the SBD book. Put on some pants (or not). Now, shake up your Zoom routine with something you might even look forward to!

No. 5 - Rest & Reflect.

No. 5 - Wanna kick start your small batch discipleship journey solo the first time around? And who doesn’t need some rest and refreshment right about now?!

If that sounds like you, idea no.5 is calling your name! This weekend, find a good hammock with an autumn view or your favorite cozy reading spot, sit back, and kick your feet up. Give the SBD book a read, and reflect upon your biggest takeaways while you catch your breath in the autumn breeze 🍂

...Then, pray about who else you might invite along for the journey, reach out, and start back over with them right at the very beginning. You can do this!!! 💪 And I promise, this is one adventure that you’ll never regret getting started!!! 🗺
